The original uncensored version of the Arctic Monkeys's "Suck It and See" video.

This is why I hate when content is edited for fear of being too troubling for its audience. This version, especially the last 25 seconds, is just so much better than the "safe" version.

Sid Meier's Pirates!, Ever Sailing As a Crew of One

I think that I may have just rewritten an article that I wrote eight years ago. However, I suspect that the last time that I wrote it that it was pretty terrible (I can't bear the thought of reading something from that long ago to find out, though).

I think that this version might be a little bit better?

You Are Big Boss: Antagonism and Antagonists in the Metal Gear Universe

I'm afraid that this may be hard to follow if one isn't familiar with the twisty, madcap, and absurd plotlines of the Metal Gear saga. This isn't really a discussion of plot, though. It's an effort to show correlations between certain thematic conceits that Kojima is fond of and ultimately how they relate to the ending of Metal Gear solid V.

Learning from Weak AI

I don't know if my analysis vs. evaluation dichotomy is really accurate in relation to the way that artificial intelligence and human intelligence differ.

However, one way or the other, even a dumb machine has something to teach us once in awhile.
